Every 26 seconds, one new child is sold, forced or lured into the sex-trade. Destiny Rescue is committed to liberating and restoring these children from sexual slavery and exploitation. Already serving in five nations, Destiny Rescue has rescued over 1000 children so far and will keep expanding to reach even more precious children.
Destiny Rescue is a grassroots, internationally recognized, Christian based, non-profit organisation dedicated to rescuing children from human trafficking and sexual exploitation. We help rescue the sexually exploited and enslaved, restore the abused, protect the vulnerable, empower the poor and are a voice for those that can’t speak up for themselves.
We currently operate our various programs in five nations: Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Philippines, and India. We currently have offices in three donor nations: New Zealand, Australia and the United States.
Our efforts are making a huge difference, too. We’ve rescued hundreds of children enslaved around the world, helped keep hundreds more from entering the sex-trade through our various prevention programs, ensured justice for those that have been wronged and have raised awareness to untold numbers. And, we’ll continue to expand to help reach even more children in the days ahead!
Destiny Rescue realises that human trafficking is a big problem globally with up to 21 million men, women and children enslaved in its deadly grip today. With that said, we’re determined to set captives free worldwide. As long as children are being sold into the sex-trade, and poverty that drives at-risk children into prostitution exists, Destiny Rescue will be fully committed to fighting for their freedom, restoration and offering them a chance to dream again.
This is the crucial first step. Children are bound either by physical chains or psychological ones and our rescue agents’ job is to bring the girls out of darkness. Posing as customers, they seek to win the child’s trust before making an offer to take them to a safe rescue home.
If Rescue is the starter’s gun, then Restoration is the marathon. This is where the long yet joyful healing process begins. Rescued children are taken to safe houses where they sleep safely, receive education, vocational training, counseling and healthcare, spiritual guidance and, most importantly, love.
We strive to bring children out of darkness, but we’d rather they weren’t there in the first place. We have Prevention Homes in different countries where we care for at-risk children – often siblings of rescued girls – until they of age to find safe employment or higher education.
It’s often the desperation of poverty that sees children being trafficked into sexual exploitation. Through educating poor communities about trafficking and helping establish small business projects, we give at-risk communities a hand-up, not a hand out.
We Are A Voice
When you’re trapped in darkness, no-one can hear you. These children are going through, or have been through, hell on earth, and few seem to be listening. These children don’t have voices of their own so we are shouting for them. We want everyone to know about this evil. We want everyone to do something to help.
